At the end of each year we invite our students to reflect on their experience of YITS and write down some of their thoughts and feelings. What follows is a selection of a few of the statements our graduates have made about the course.

I’ve always been a pretty shy person, but over the last year, being in an environment where everyone loves and accepts you for who you really are, I’ve been able to take down the barriers that I’d placed around myself... Angela
The second term nearly killed me, paying off debts – working and studying full-time. But even through the hardships, God was teaching me things which I’d have never learned in any other way; the power of worship, the power of prayer, and the love of my friends and family. I thank God for this hardship, which might sound quite strange, but I wouldn’t swap it for anything... Michael
