J. Dudley Woodberry is Dean Emeritus and Senior Professor of Islamic studies at Fuller Theological Seminary’s School of Intercultural Studies in California, USA. He is considered one of the foremost Christian scholars of Islam, and has served as consultant on the Muslim world to President Carter, the State Department, and other U.S. government agencies. His most recent books include From Seed to Fruit: Global Trends, Fruitful Practices, and Emerging Issues among Muslims (2008). Recent teaching and lecturing trips have taken him to Afghanistan, Egypt, Thailand, and China.

The Church, the artist and cultural restoration with Dr Colin Harbinson

Colin Harbinson

Recognized internationally as a pioneer in his field, Colin Harbinson’s work as a writer, director and producer has won numerous industry awards. He was awarded an honorary doctorate (DD) for lifetime achievement in the arts in 1995. Colin, a sought after teacher and conference speaker, is Senior Associate for the arts with the Lausanne Movement. Until recently he was Dean of the Arts at Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. Colin is the International Director of StoneWorks, a Belhaven College arts initiative, and visited Tabor in 2009 for the inaugural StoneWorks Australia Summit.

ANNOUNCING A NEW PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN TABOR ADELAIDE AND FULLER THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, CALIFORNIA

We are delighted to announce a new partnership between Tabor Adelaide and Fuller Theological Seminary in California with regard to the delivery of Fuller’s Doctor of Ministry postgraduate coursework units. Embracing the School of Theology, School of Psychology, and School of Intercultural Studies, Fuller is an evangelical, multidenominational, international, and multiethnic postgraduate community with a worldwide reputation for excellence. Commencing with the August 2009 intensive seminar with Brian Edgar on Public Theology, Tabor postgraduate intensives will now be available to Fuller doctoral students, particularly those who live in Australia. As an additional advantage, the new partnership opens the door for Tabor Doctor of Ministry students who wish to enrol in Fuller’s wide range of postgraduate intensives which are held at the Fuller campus in Pasadena. Dr Graham Buxton, Director of Postgraduate Development at Tabor, teaches on a regular basis as an adjunct professor at Fuller and both Dr Don Owers and Dr Stephen Spence hold doctoral degrees from Fuller.
