Ministry, Theology, and Culture - Global Centre
The Tabor Global Centre is designed to strengthen our focus upon the theology, principles, strategies and activities of the global Christian movement.
The global Christian movement is just that – a movement. It is constantly moving, stretching out across the world. Christ’s Great Commission calls us to begin where we are (whether that be Jerusalem or Adelaide!), and be moving further out until Christ is known everywhere. Tabor’s Global Centre begins at the “centre” (where we find ourselves right here and now), but looks to the globe.
Tabor’s Global Centre is a practical resource for those who share this passion. We seek to develop and train people who will be practitioners of the gospel (doers, walkers), so they can reflect upon the global and missiological implications of any context they find themselves in – for by understanding the surrounding context, we are much better equipped to begin to transform it through and with Jesus Christ.
