Teacher education in schools
Teacher education in schools is an essential component of Tabor Adelaide’s pre-service Education courses. Student Teachers have professional experience in schools from the first semester of their courses. They progress from observers to teachers in charge of classes for increasing periods of time. The in-school educational component of their courses takes place under the close supervision of a Teaching Mentor, a School Supervisor and a Tabor Adelaide Teacher Educator. Details are given in the Practicum Participant Handbooks which are provided for Student Teachers.
