Student Representative Council (SRC)
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is comprised of a group of students committed to serving their fellow students. SRC members commit to:
- to build positive relationships between students and faculty of Tabor Adelaide
- to facilitate student involvement in college life
- help fellow students to achieve academic success;
- encourage interaction and unity between students in various faculties;
- promote Tabor Adelaide awareness among friends, family and the community; and
- make College life fun and enjoyable for all students.
The SRC may be involved in organising many and various activities, e.g. social events, working with staff to organise a major end-of-year activity in November, introducing new students to College life, etc.
Ministry Theology & Culture, Counselling, Year in the Son, Youth Work, Education, Humanities and Performing Arts students should all be represented on the SRC.
Faculty Heads normally work with their students to choose suitable representatives. The SRC meets monthly, as a truly representative student group. It is joined by the Student Support Officer and the Academic Dean.
SRC members usually serve from July one year to June the next. If you are interested in serving on the SRC, please let your Faculty Head know. The names of the SRC members and SRC activities are published in Tabor in Touch from time to time.
